CrossFit in Coquitlam March 11, 2013

CrossFit MastersWear we hang Michael and Mike before we let them loose on the CrossFit Games floor.

That was a pretty cool weekend. CrossFit Games 13.1 is wrapped up. Currently the gym sits at 11th place in Canada West. Our very own Casey Inglis is 1st in Canada West and 15th in the world! In the Masters 54-59 division Michael Herberts is 17th in Canada West. In the Masters 45-49 division, Mike Perrier is 7th! And in the Masters 40-44 Coach Tom is 7th. Heroic efforts from all involved! I was real proud to see everyone work so hard. Amazing to see people get not 1, not 2, but 3 PRs when they got to those heavy snatches. It’s a good spectator sport as well. If you are looking for something to do Saturday between 10 and Noon, come on  by the gym to cheer on your fellow Rocky Point CrossFitters and watch some of the most intense workouts in CrossFit. Four WODs remain. Follow the leaderboard.

Still a couple of Canucks tix available for this Thursday night’s game. Get a hold of Tom or Ty if you want one or two or three.

Want to help someone get in shape but they seem daunted by CrossFit? Let them know about our Tough Mudder Training Camp getting under way at the end of this month. It’s got a CrossFit flavour, but eases them into the deep end a little more gradually. Ultimately having them prepared for Tough Mudder this June.
