Burgundy Luvs CrossFit! (Looks like a CrossFit Carebear) And we Luv Burgundy!!!! Check out the pic below. Can you believe this is the same guy? The pic below was taken exactly 1 year ago! What a dramatic change. CrossFit + Eating Right = 1 Stud. Marc, keep up the work buddy. I’m impressed. I’d kiss you on the mouth if it weren’t frowned upon in this culture.

Another great week of WODs ahead of us. Hope to see some more exciting developments like Ty S nailing his first linked muscle ups and Champ cranking out her first few hand stand push-ups. We luv being witness to these victories!

Got some fun stuff planned too. This Saturday, after the noon WOD, spend the afternoon eating some exotic meats, quaffing a few frosty pints and watching the CrossFit Games on the big screen. No one is allowed with any sort of bar in hand after 3 beers 😉

On Sunday, we will shift the WOD to Rocky Point Park! There will be no 11AM WOD or Noon Yoga at the gym. Instead, we’ll quietly invade the park at 9AM to do our worst. We’ve made arrangements to rent out the paddle-boards after the WOD. We need to know ASAP if you want to try this out. The cost is $25 for 2 hours. Let myself or Ty know by Tuesday if you want to give this a crack.

Today’s Workout:

This is bizarre. I swear that CrossFit HQ is monitoring the gym listening in on my conversations. This is not the first time this has happened. I have spent the last 4 weeks working on my bench press in order to do this very workout. Scali and I were discussing it on Sunday, forming strategies then flexing in front of one of the reflective windows at the front of the building. Since we have a limited number of benches, we must do this one in waves. If you can, show up early, get your bars ready, then crank it out. If you are in a latter wave, keep warm and be ready to go. Below is the RX version of the WOD. Scale accordingly. Try and have your numbers in mind before you arrive today. Keep an eye on your fellow CrossFitters. Be there to spot on the benchpress and shout them through the cleans and  deadlifts. Have a great week everybody! See you at the gym!

Deadlift: 1 1/2 body weight
Bench press: body weight
Clean: 3/4 body weight

Set up three bars and storm through for time.
