Smoothies

Smoothies have been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. They are packed with nutrients, providing vitamins and oils necessary for good nutrition.

Some smoothies are packed with sugars, so if you are watching your sugar intake try not to each too much fruit. Try to keep your smoothies as natural as possible. Adding juice is just adding more sugar. Try using water, almond milk, coconut water or coconut milk instead.

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender; pulse until smooth.
  2. Enjoy!
Here is another smoothie this one isn’t paleo but it sure is good. My dad started making it for me when I was a kid. It’s packed with protein.
Berry Beach
  • 1 packed Sunrise Dessert Tofu (coconut is my favorite)
  • 1 cup mixed berries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk
**If you like your smoothies thinner add  more milk or water**
Directions:
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender; pulse until smooth.
  2. Enjoy!
