TACOS

Last week we had an unfortunate event with the fridge at our gym. But I benefited greatly! These tacos were courtesy of RPCF!

TACOS

2 lb of good quality ground meat such as organic grass fed beef, or elk, bison, antelope

1 large onion (sweet or white), chopped

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 large garlic clove, chopped

1 tablespoon chili powder (try different types – I use New Mexico chili powder)

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano or ½ teaspoon fresh oregano, chopped

1/2 teaspoon paprika or smoked paprika

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

1 head of romaine, butter, or large green leafy lettuce, cleaned and with the leaves whole and separated
