A few months go I posted  “Crab WOD”.  Well we did it again! And this time we took photos! Check out my delicious little crustaitions. I don’t think Ariel would be to happy that I ate her friend Sebastian : )

Believe it or not crabbing is a lot of work when you want it fresh. Us CrossFiters seem to enjoy doing things the hard way. It would have been so much easier to buy crab from the store. But you don’t get the same satisfaction as if you catch and kill it yourself.


We brought a large pot of heavily salted water to boil and put the crab legs in. Brought it to a boil again for 8 minutes and then finished the legs on the BBQ for 5 minutes to crisp them up and get rid of excess moisture. The vegetables were lightly seasoned and grilled on the BBQ.

Can’t get much more fresh or local then that! :)
