I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love summer! Sunshine, sweaty wods, outdoor adventures, boating, drinks, and fresh food. It really can’t get much better than that. This weekend was action packed. We decided to venture down to one of my favorite spots in Vancouver called Granville Island. What better way than to get there than boat! It’s way better than driving and getting stuck in traffic. Plus the people watching along the way is ridiculous! I swear we could have made a drinking game with all the craziness that was going on that afternoon. Whoever decided to rent out paddle bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards to tourist was a genius! Go check out Jerkio beach one day, have a drink whenever see somone fall off their paddle board I’m sure you will be buzzed within 5 mins!
Now let me tell you about Granville Island…the Public Market is a gem. A fascinating assortment of colourful stalls, showcasing unique homemade products and the very finest in gastronomic delights. All fresh from the ocean, the oven or the field. The market is filled with rich aromas permeating from the lavish displays, shimmering seafood, warm baked goods, plump fruit. It’s all kinds of amazing in one place!
