That was a great weekend at Rocky point Crossfit! The Saturday WOD saw 26 faithfuls show up, find a partner and complete: Grace, Fran, Annie & Helen together! Holy Cow! 4 Girls! Barbells were flying. Curses were being cast. New CrossFitters were realizing what they were capable of. Sunday saw a handful of hardcores throw “300” down. 25 Pullups, 50 Deadlifts 135/95, 50 Pushups, 50 Box Jumps, 50 Floor Wipers 135/95, 50 Clean and Jerk Kettle Bell, 25 Pull-ups. A different atmosphere. Little talk. Those that came to do “300” were focused. It was intense. Thanks guys. It is always a treat for me to do these wods with you!
<—- In other news. *sigh* Joce, one of the gym’s first members and an inspiration to any that have had the pleasure of doing a WOD with her, has moved off to UBC to complete her studies in Dentistry. Joce is an amazing CrossFitter. She represented Rocky Point CrossFit at the 2011 CrossFit Games in Western Canada. She’s one of the few people you would ever encounter under extreme duress and still have a smile on her face. I’ve reminded Joce that He-Man has volunteered his entire jaw for her to practice on. I’ll offer at least three teeth. Not to worry. Joce will be around from time to time to chew up the odd WOD with us. Best of Luck Joce! I don’t think you need it. You’re gonna kill it!

2 X 400m Run. (go hard. No pausing to admire the Hiway 1 traffic) Rest 3 minutes between rounds.
Teams of 3:
Carry a loaded barbell and a
kettlebell one mile for time.
Anywhere along the way, complete:
100 Hang Squat Cleans 95/65
100 Kettlebell Swings 53/36
Partition the workload any way you wish. Team must stick together.
