A hearty congratulations to everyone in the gym who has been working so hard. I’ve been watching the group classes of late and have been impressed with the vast improvements in everyone’s progress. Strength, speed, coordination…and you look better too! 😉

Week 2 of the CrossFit Games Opens have wrapped up. This past WOD favoured Rocky Point CrossFit better than 7 minutes of burpees! The gym has climbed the ranks into the top 30 and sits at 27!!!!! We have several individuals ranked in the top 60 in Canada West! Check it out!

Day 1

As many Reps as possible in 10 min:

CrossFit Games Open 12.2
30 Snatch (M 75 / F 45 lbs)
30 Snatch (M 135 / F 75 lbs)
30 Snatch (M 165 / F 100 lbs)
Max Rep Snatch (M 210 / F 120 lbs)

Day 2

Spend 30 min working up to a 1RM Deadlift

4 rounds for time of:
200 m Farmers Carry 50 lbs
15 Pull-ups
20 Push-ups
30 Sit-up (abmat)s

Day 3

Complete as many rounds as possible in 10 minutes of:
185 pound Clean and jerk, 2 reps
15 foot Rope climb, 1 ascent
