So, the 2012 CrossFit Games are upon us. If you are interested in participating in the Opens, please let me know. You must be registered before Feb 22nd. This will be a lot of fun. If you are hitting your WODs prescribed, I strongly urge you to give the Opens a try. Note: Our first Games WOD will be run on Saturday Feb 25th at 10AM. Even if you are not competing, please come in to cheer on your fellow Rocky Point CrossFitters. Sometimes, someone shouting at you carries you that little bit further. Today’s Workout

Six sets of:
Shoulder Press x 2 reps @ 20X1
Rest 2-3 minutes between sets and use that time to work on mobility


If you don’t have a strong squat clean or front squat, sub with a power clean. Reset after the thruster.

Three rounds for time of:
Run 600 meters
10-25 pound Squat clean thruster, 12 reps


Five rounds for time of:
Run 600 meters
65/45 pound Squat clean thruster, 15 reps


Five rounds for time of:
Run 600 meters
95/65 pound Squat clean thruster, 15 reps
